Xel discovered his powers when he was sixteen, through a brutal fight in slums of Atlantis. Realizing how devastating such powers could be, he abandoned the use of it and relied on his intellectual knowledge instead. By the age of twenty-six, ten years after the brutal event, The Millennium Society contacted him and lured him into the Society. Promised that the society will fund his research to stop the supposed genetic mutation of all human beings, Xel had been a Millennium ever since.
